Tryptophan is an essential amino acid that the body can receive only through diet or nutritional supplements. In the body, tryptophan becomes a precursor of neurotransmitters or vitamin B3 (niacin). In the presence of a sufficient amount of vitamin B6 is converted to the neurotransmitter serotonin, otherwise called the hormone of happiness. Serotonin has a positive effect on good mood, relieves emotional tension, stressful situations, tremors.
At night, it is converted to sleep hormone which accelerates sleep, prolongs sleep, improves sleep quality and eliminates involuntary waking up during the night and early in the morning. In addition to its conversion to serotonin, the amino acid L-tryptophan can also be converted to vitamin B3 in the body. It depends on the concentration of vitamin B3 in the body. If the body has a sufficient supply of vitamin B3, this conversion process does not take place and therefore more L-tryptophan can be converted to the neurotransmitters.
Vitamins B6 and B3 also contribute to the proper functioning of the nervous system and psyche, they also contribute to the reduction of fatigue and exhaustion. Tryptophan B + positively contributes to improved mood, better management of stress, nervousness and tension during the day (reduces the level of stress hormone cortisol), improves sleep during the night and eliminates insomnia at night.
Tryptophan B + contains:
- L-Tryptophan
An essential amino acid that the body cannot make on its own, and therefore must receive it from food. Contributes to improving mood, better coping with stressful situations, nervousness and tension. - Vitamin B6
Contributes to normal mental activity, to reduce stress, fatigue and exhaustion. Tryptophan is converted to serotonin thanks to vitamin B6. Without his presence, such a transformation would not have taken place. - Vitamin B3
Is important for metabolism in living cells and due to its presence, tryptophan can be converted to neurotransmitters.
